Please note: When you apply as a volunteer, you automatically sign the volunteer contract. Therefore, make sure to read it before submitting your application.
Bar Crew
Have you always dreamed of taking a bartender course in Bali? Cancel the tickets and do it in Luster instead! The Bergtatt bar is looking for volunteers with good vibes and a love for high tempo. Bar volunteers are what we need the most, so this is also where you have the best chance of getting a spot.
Setup Crew
In the setup crew we’re looking for energetic and handy people to help us build the festival. Tasks can include anything from building stages and carrying fences to decorating the festival area with paint, flowers and other creative touches.
Sales Crew
At the ticket booth, QR codes are exchanged for festival wristbands, and at our coffee and merch stands the audience can stock up on both energy and festival style. These booths are also some of our most important points of contact with the audience, where people should be able to get help with just about anything. We’re looking for friendly, helpful and organized people - simply someone who appreciates a bit of good old-fashioned service!
Breakdown Crew
During breakdown, the mission is to tear down, dismantle and remove everything the setup crew worked so hard to build. Both sad and strangely satisfying!
We’re also looking for a few people who would like to help dismantle the main stage after the final concert on Saturday night (late Saturday / early Sunday). This takes a couple of hours and would be your only shift. Feel free to mention in the application if this sounds like something for you :)
Site Care Crew
Help us make Bergtatt Festival a safe, welcoming and sustainable event!
In the Site Care Crew we’re looking for friendly, engaged people who want to help create a safe, tidy and environmentally responsible festival experience for our wonderful audience.
Tasks include helping maintain safety around the festival area, campsite and club venue, while also caring for the environment by keeping the area clean and tidy and helping ensure that our footprint in the beautiful nature around the Sognefjord stays as small as possible.
Night shifts: We’re also looking for a couple of volunteers for shorter night shifts. If you’d be interested in helping out at night, please note this in your application.
Sunshine Crew
Would Bergtatt Festival be anything without coffee brewing and a smile on people’s faces? Most likely not! We’re looking for joy-spreaders who want to help create an amazing experience for volunteers, artists and staff alike. This might just be the most appreciated job at the festival!
Tasks focus on making everyone working at the festival feel welcome and taken care of: cooking and serving food for volunteers and staff, making waffles, brewing coffee, and organizing small, cozy gatherings that bring people together and keep spirits high.
Driver Crew
Help make Bergtatt Festival run smoothly and efficiently!
We’re looking for volunteer drivers who can transport artists, equipment and other important deliveries to and from the festival area.
As a driver you’ll be a key part of keeping the festival running smoothly. During quieter periods you may also be asked to help with other tasks to make the festival experience as great as possible for everyone involved.
Elite Setup Crew
Do you love building, tearing down, carrying things and being right in the middle of the action? Then our Elite Setup Crew might be perfect for you!
This crew is a small task force working throughout the entire setup and breakdown period, with the reward of having the whole festival off once everything is built. In return for the extra effort, you’ll get several luxurious perks - including access to your own showers, daily food and drink vouchers, and more.
It’s also a very social and fun crew to be part of! We’re currently looking for a few new faces to join the team, could that be you?
