Volunteer Contract

This contract is binding between the volunteer and Bergtattfestivalen AS and applies to volunteer work related to the execution of Bergtatt Festival 2026.
 

The volunteer is responsible for reading, familiarizing themselves with, and understanding this contract.

The contract outlines what the volunteer commits to and what Bergtattfestivalen AS commits to. It also serves as a consent form for the use of the volunteer’s personal data in the application process.
 

Bergtatt Festival commits to:

  • Provide the volunteer with a personal festival pass that the volunteer may use when not on duty

  • Provide proper training for assigned tasks

  • Provide at least one meal per shift

  • Provide an electronic certificate for completed volunteer work upon request
     

The volunteer commits to:

  • Arrive at the assigned time and place for scheduled shifts

  • Not leave their post before the shift has ended

  • Carry out tasks according to the instructions of the team leader

  • Not be under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances while on duty

  • Not make statements to the press on behalf of the festival, but refer all media inquiries to the festival’s press manager
     

Breach and termination of agreement

If the volunteer fails to fulfill their obligations to Bergtatt Festival, the festival reserves the right to remove the volunteer’s festival wristband and invoice the volunteer NOK 2,999. In cases of breach of agreement or inappropriate behavior, the volunteer risks being excluded from this year’s festival as well as future festivals.
 

Privacy

The volunteer hereby allows the collected personal data to be used in the following ways:

  • Personal data will be used by volunteer coordinators during the application process and for administration during the festival

  • Contact information will be shared with team leaders in order to arrange work schedules and to enable contact during the festival

  • All data will be anonymized and used for internal reporting and evaluation after the festival

  • Personal data will not be shared with external partners

  • The volunteer may request access to their data at any time, and the data will be deleted after two years unless the volunteer requests earlier deletion
     

The contract is automatically signed when you submit the application form.
